Head of Distributor Sales (m/f/d) in the field of immunodiagnostics in Hamburg

 

For one of our customers specialized in the field of immunodiagnostics we are looking for a Head of Distributor Sales (m/f/d) in Hamburg at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for sales and pricing according to the budget and management guideline in compliance with applicable guidelines and laws
  • Responsibility for all countries in which we work with distributors
  • Define and implement a distribution growth plan in line with the overall company objectives, in order to meet the set targets and business plans
  • Implement distribution policies and export compliance rules for the commercial operations
  • Set targets to distributors and support them with the appropriate tools
  • Responsibility for adapting and implementing new business models
  • Analysis of the global IVD market and of predefined market segments for the development of corporate strategies
  • Presence at international conferences and trade fairs
  • Network with key opinion leaders and distributors to drive the business

Your profile:

  • Academic education in natural sciences (diploma, master, PhD) in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, medicine or similar. A completed laboratory training is desirable
  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience with management responsibility in international sales in the field of laboratory diagnostics, preferably immunoassays
  • Excellent marketing and sales knowledge in the field of diagnostics
  • Experienced, balanced personality with high integrity and high ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills with very good presentation techniques and high persuasiveness and leadership skills
  • Very high level of stress resistance paired with high flexibility, quick in finding and implementation of solutions
  • English is a must, German a plus, and any other language beneficial
  • Willingness to global travel
